Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ), the solicitation number is FA664-03-Q-0023. The 482 FW Operational Contracting Office, Homestead Air Reserve Base (ARB), Dade County, Florida, requires the purchase of a 20 Ton McQuay, Scroll-High Efficiency, Air Cooled Chiller or equal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001/11. This acquisition will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333415, the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3585 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. A Firm Fixed Price Contract will be awarded. DELIVERY: Delivery will be no later than 30 days after receipt of award. DESCRIPTION: Line Item 0001, Chiller, 20 Ton AmQuay, Scroll-High Efficiency, Air Cooled, Model: AGZ020A, 208/230.Volt 3 PH. or equal. Quantity: 1, Unit: EA, Unit Price: $__________, Total: $__________. GOVERNMENT POINT OF CONTACT (POC): TECHINCAL REPRESENTATIVE: Mr. Ian Butcher, 482 MSG/CEOU, Bldg. 233, (305) 224-7470. Upon completion of work, the contractor will submit the Original and two copies of the invoice to: DFAS--BVFD/DY, MRK FOR: FA6648-03-(Last five digits of the purchase order number), P.O. BOX 369024, Columbus, OH 43218-9024. A copy of the invoice will be faxed to Mr. Ian Butcher at (305) 224-7381. The following Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) clause applies to this solicitation and is incorporated by reference: DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration., DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance of Payments Program Certificate, DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program, DFARS 252.225-7002, Qualifying Country Sources as Subcontractors. The following Air Force FAR (AFFARS) clause applies to this solicitation and is incorporated by reference: AFFARS 5352.242-9000, Contractor Access to AF Installation. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses apply to this solicitation and is incorporated in full text, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Offeror must submit a completed copy of provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items, with its proposal. A copy of these representations and certification may be obtained from the above FAR web site address. The offeror shall provide its DUNS, or if applicable its DUNS + 4 number with its offer, which will be used by the Contracting Officer to verify that an offeror is registered in the CCR database. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. The date and time responses are due is 7 February 2003, 2:30 p.m. local time.
