Anticipated solicitation issue date will be 19 Feb 2003 and anticipated proposal due date will be 30 days thereafter, e.g. 21 Mar 2003. For additional information contact Janice M. Item 0001, Horizontal Stabilizer, NSN: 1560-01-310-2035GY, P/N: 232T003-9, Dim: 6' X 3' X 4"; Material: Aluminum; Function: used to turn drone. Basic quantity of 4 each with 3 Options: 1-4 each per option. Sole Source to Northrop Grumman Corp, San Diego, CA. (Cage 78022). Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), "Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" applies. Note 22 applies. The extent of foreign participation has not yet been determined. MOU country sources must contact the Contracting Officer within 15 calendar days of the date of this synopsis notice to receive a copy of the solicitation at the time it is initially issued. Issuance of the RFP will not be delayed to review requests from MOU country sources received after 15 days or the synopsis notice or solicitation, regarding eligible sources (e.g. if this is a small-business set-aside, foreign sources may not participate as potential prime contractors but could, if otherwise eligible, participate as subcontractors).
