- The Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, intends to solicit, negotiate and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Red Clay and Sand Mixture Appropriate for Road Repair. The Government reserves the right to split this award based on quantity and price breaks offered. Vendor shall indicate quantities and price breaks. All responses to this synopsis/ solicitation shall be submitted in YARDS in 5,000 YD increments, with an estimated 55,000 YD - 60,000 YD total, based on per YD cost. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested, and a written request for quotation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this announcement is FQ3CEO30170200, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 234110 with a small business standard size of $28,500,000 annual income as a 100 percent small business set-aside. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard, if you meet the Government requirements. The Red Clay and Sand Mixture will be delivered on an FOB Destination to the areas of Eglin Air Force Base property between Highway 285 and Highway 85 to Niceville, FL and the township of Wright, as directed. Final delivery is estimated to be 90-120 days from date of award, based on weather conditions and mission requirements.
