- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Milk Delivery Services for the United States Penitentiary Farm in Lompoc, California. Services to be provided shall include delivery of farm products to federal institutions in the Southern California area. The contract type is a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery requirements contract. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through September 30, 2003 and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Year - 10,800 miles; Option 1 - 31,200 miles; Option 2 - 31,200 miles; Option 3 - 31,200 miles; Option 4 - 31,200 miles. The solicitation will be available on or about February 3, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instruction to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interest parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about March 3, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
