- This is a Request For Information. The National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) and the Remote Sensing Applications Center (RSAC) are collecting information on the technical capability of airborne infrared fire mapping and detection services. The information gathered will be collated and passed on to Incident Command Teams IMT's and Forest Service Regions. No promise of further work is implied or intended; however, failure to reply could limit the exposure of your servies to contracting units. Please fill out the attached Technical Capability - Questionnaire and submit it as noted.
