- This solicitation will be placed on this website for download when it is available. Requests for hardcopies may be faxed to 406-449-5081, ATTN: Debbie Willett. Estimated issue date for this solicitation is January 28, 2003. This project is for the removal, disposal and demolition of the structure and related tasks for the former Skinner Building located at the intersection of Cedar Street and I-15 in Helena, Montana. The work includes the abatement and clean up of various special wastes and potentially hazardous materials including asbestos, lead-based paint and Polychlorinated Biphenyl's (PCB's). The Contractor shall employ work methods and take every precaution to ensure that asbestos, in a variety of forms on the site, not be permitted to migrate off site during abatement and demolition activities. Estimated time for completion is 30 calendar days. The NAICS Code for this project is 562910. This solicitation is a request for quotes. Award will be made based on price, contractor ability to perform the work, experience in this type of work, and past performance. This proposed procurement is set-aside for small business.
