- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F34601-03-R-48659. The solicitation is a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 2840 and North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 336412. Place of delivery Tinker AFB, OK, with an FOB Origin. The Air Force has a requirement to provide a quantity range of 30 ea Maximum, 24 ea Medium and 12 ea Minimum of NSN: 2840-01-160-9235RV P/N: 793266 Metallic Aircraft Fire Seal. Gov't required delivery is Apr 2004. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received prior to the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The following provisions and clauses apply: 52.252-2 - Clauses Incorporated by Reference. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
