- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for quotation is ACB-3-Q-0023. The US Immigration & Naturalization Service is seeking firms or individuals interested in providing Custodial Services for the Oakdale Service Processing Center, 1900 East Whatley Road, Oakdale, LA 71463. Period of performance will consist of a base period of one year and 4 possible one-year option periods. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561720 and a size standard of $14,000,000. Quote packages are due to the Contracting Office by 4:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time on 12/27/02. The distribution of this solicitation will be accomplished primarily through the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) website http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The FedBizOpps site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available; therefore, no written, telephone, or facsimile requests for the solicitation will be accepted. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the GSA site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the GSA site to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
