- Timber Sale: 344 thousand board feet (Mbf) of Pine Sawtimber (Scribner 78), 402 standard cords of Pine Chip-n-Saw, 201 standard cords of Pine Pulpwood and 63 standard cords of Hardwood Pulpwood at the Naval Air Station, Meridian, Mississippi. The sale area consists of 264 acres on which trees are to be thinned. This sale was previously advertised as N62467-03-B-5300. This sale is to be a lump sum sale: Invitation No. N63467- 03-B-5306. Bid opening is on Thursday, 20 February 2003, at 2:30 P.M. (Local Time). For questions, contact Mr. Jim Copeland, Forester, at (601) 679-2482. Timber is not sold under FAR regulations. The NAICS Code is 113310: Logging. The size standard is 500 employees. NOTICE: Additional security measures have been initiated after the events of 11 September 2001. FOR SPECIFICATIONS: The Government intends to issue the solicitation on the WEB only and through the Forestry Bidders List maintained by Mr. John Parlier at (843) 820-5594. Prospective Bidders MUST register on the web site http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed from the web. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading.
