- Description
- This is a sources sought synopsis seeking potential 8(a) certified firms geographically located in the Small Business Administration's Fresno or San Francisco regions that have an interest in submitting, as a prime contractor in an 8(a) competition, an offer to provide grounds maintenance at the Naval Air Station, Lemoore, California. This will be a combination firm-fixed price/indefinite quantity contract. The work will include all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide grounds maintenance services in accordance with contract requirements. Grass cutting, edging, pruning, cultivation and mulching, fertilization, trash and litter collection and disposal, fence line maintenance, raking, tree and stump removal, irrigation, grassing, de-thatching, weed control and other miscellaneous services are included. The use of pesticides to accomplish certain grounds maintenance functions may be permitted if approved by the Contracting Officer. Interested sources shall provide the following information regarding their qualifications, capabilities and experience: 1) Financial capability: provide financial statement showing capability to manage a contract with a value of up to $1,500,000. 2) Past Performance: provide references including contract numbers and point of contacts and phone numbers for relevant projects performed during the last three years. These may be government or commercial; 3) Experience: Briefly describe the contracts or programs that your firm has worked in the last 5 ? 7 years that show experience in performing and overall management of similar types of contracts and show the experience of key managers. 4) Management structure: Provide your proposed management structure for this contract with a brief description of the lines of responsibilities, including any major subcontractors, joint ventures or teaming arrangements. This information is required in writing and failure to provide information on any of the criteria above (#1 through #4) will result in your firm being excluded from further consideration. This information must be submitted no later than close of business, February 4, 2003 to EFA WEST, Pacific Plaza, 2001 Junipero Serra Blvd., Room 600, Daly City, CA 94014-1976 or they can be E-mailed to Diana Gustafson at gustafsond@efawest.navfac.navy.mil. If adequate interest is not received from 8(a) firms, the solicitation shall be solicited as ?UNRESTRICTED? and is to be issued on or about 18 February 2003. The NAICS Code is 561730. The small business size standard is $6,000,000.
