- Description
- The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to: Randcastle Extrusion Systems, Inc., 74 Sand Park Rd., Cedar Grove NJ 07009. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 334516. The following items will be procured: CLIN 0001 - One (1) each, Microtruder Model #RCP-0625 (5/8 inch 24:1 L/D, Extruder; CLIN 0002 - One (1) each, Pressure Gauge, Model #GF10,000; CLIN 0003 - Two (2) each, Extruder Screws, Recirculating mixing sections added to 5/6 inch extruder screw, Model #DRM1/2; CLIN 0004 - One (1) each Heating and Cooling, High Temperature Heaters for 400 degree C operation, Model #MFH-625; CLIN 00005 - One (1) each, Wire Coating Line Apparatus: Bench Mounted, for 2 to 3 mil wire with 30 mil coating (0.062 diameter), Model #RCP-0625/CD/BWT/C/AW/UN; CLIN 0006 - Shipping and Handling,One (1) lot. These requirements are components needed to fabricate mandrels for the excimer laser micro-device machining facility. Randcastle is the manufacturer. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334516. The size standard is 500. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 10 days of the publication due date of this notice. A determination by the Government whether or not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
