Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice to procure construction services for asbestos abatement and removal for the east end bottom floor of Dorm 21 at Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center. The dorm contains approx. 13800 sq. ft. of drywall and 4400 sq. ft. of floor tile and mastic. The work involves removal of drywall from walls and ceiling leaving the bare studs, removal of the floor tile and mastic from the floor, and removing all insulation from the heating pipe elbow joints which contain asbestos. A pre-bid inspection and walk-through is schelduled for February 13, 2003 at 1:00 PM (PST)at Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center, 5005 Echo Avenue, Reno, NV. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend or send a representative. No other walk-through will be held.
