- Description
- Bechtel Nevada is looking to partner with a leasing company to provide financing for heavy construction and maintenance equipment. We wish to understand the leasing process of your company, options available and restrictions or requirements you may have in partnering with us. Our partner would handle all leasing of the specified equipment for the Nevada Test Site operations. Bechtel Nevada is the contractor for DOE/NNSA managing the Nevada Test Site. This relationship is referred to as a GOCO, Government Owned Contractor Operated relationship. Bechtel Nevada operates under a letter of credit from DOE/NNSA where all contract related payments are drawn against the letter of credit. Bechtel Nevada is paid an annual fee for their management services and does not have an equity stake in the operation. Our interest is primarily in Operating Leases, however, if Capital Leasing can be proved viable we would also be interested in discussing those options.
