- Financial Management Service (FMS) is requesting quotations from vendors for twenty-four (24) Sony VAIO GRX600 Series Notebooks with the following specifications: Pentium 4 Processor, 2.0 GHz-M, 512 MB SDRAM, 60 GB Hard Drive, 16.1 inch UXGA (1600x1200) TFT LCD Screen, CD-RW/DVD Combination Drive, Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Standard Lithium-Ion Battery, 1-Year Limited Warranty, Sony VAIO USB Floppy Drive (PCGA-UFD5); twenty-four (24) Microsoft Office XP Standard Government Open Licenses; four (4) Microsoft Office XP Standard Keyless Disk/Media Kits; and twenty-four (24) Sony VAIO Neoprene Carrying Cases (PCGA-CCN3). The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. Delivery terms are FOB Destination to FMS, Ardmore Industrial Center, 3361-L 75th Avenue, Landover, MD 20785. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. Award will be based upon the best value to the Government, along with the lowest overall cost alternative and technical acceptability. All interested parties are requested to submit a written quotation that will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be made on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, business size, number of days for delivery, proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, and any prompt payment discount terms. If items are available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 1:00 PM on 1/21/2003. Quotations may be faxed to 202.874.0524, Attn: Alicia Steele.
