- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male and female offenders in the Jacksonville, Florida and surrounding areas. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled "Community Corrections Center (CCC), dated November 2001, modified March 2002. A requirements type contract is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 75% male and 25% female. The estimated number of inmate days is 29,240 for the base period; 14,965 for option period one; 15,330 for option period two; and 15,695 for option period three. The solicitation will be available on or after April 2, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is May 17, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
