- Description
- The Department of Defense Education Activity's (DoDEA) Education Division intends to award on a competitive commercial basis using Simplified Acquisition Procedures a contract for guided reading instructional materials. Guided reading instructions shall enhance, expand and compliment the guided reading component of the integrated Reading/Language Arts program, Literacy Place-1996 edition, covering grades K-6 within its system. Curriculum Review. This synopsis is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the solicitation. The Solicitation Number is MDA410-03-R-0004 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This action will be processed using simplified acquisition procedures and incorporates provision and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is a federal government agency, tax exempt, an education activity and qualifies for academic/educational pricing. FSC Code: 7610, Book. NAICS Code: 511130, Books and Pamphlets Publishers GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The offerors shall submit complete solicitation package and technical proposal in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and supporting documentation in Solicitation MDA410-03-R-0004. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS SHALL BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING Solicitation package for this RFP must be complete, signed, dated, and due at the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), Procurement Division, 4th Floor, 4040 N. Fairfax Drive, Arlington, Virginia 22203-1635, no later than 12:00 noon, EST, Monday, July 22, 2002. Technical Proposal (materials) for this RFP must be received no earlier than Thursday, August 1, 2002 and no later than 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2002, at the following address: DoDEA, MATERIALS REVIEW (AUG 2-9, 2002) C/O DOUBLETREE HOTEL CRYSTAL CITY ATTN: CHRISTI MAXI / SANDEE SCRUGGS (ELA K-6) 300 ARMY NAVY DRIVE ARLINGTON, VA 22202 Solicitation Package shall be marked with the MDA410-03-R-0004 and addressed to Ms. Janice Brown. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database (www.ccr.gov) and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) are mandatory. Solicitation Package shall include (1) completed Representations and Certifications, (2) Subcontracting Plan, (3) CAGE code, (4) DUNS number, (5) Tax ID number, (6) email address, (7) fax number and (8) web site address.
