- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for various sizes of hardwood pallets to be delivered to various Government locations in the Puget Sound area. Deliveries will be FOB Destination and the resultant contract will be a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract. The contract will be for a base period of performance from the date of award through one year thereafter, with the possibility of four one-year option periods. The 100% small business set-aside (NAICS 321920) commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 21 January 03 with a closing date of 4 February 03. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to joshua_c_carter@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. Please do not call with questions regarding the posting of the solicitation on NECO until after the posting date, 21 January 2003. No bidder list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. To be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
