- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Washington Detachment is interested in obtaining document conversion services on behalf of the Defense Automated Printing Service (DAPS). Solicitation to be issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Anticipate multiple awards of fixed priced, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contracts for a base year plus four one-year options with an additional 6 month option in accordance with FAR 52.217-8. The contracts will include but not be limited to the following services and service groupings: document conversion, digital warehousing, CD-ROM production, printing, duplicating, distribution copier management, Standard Document Handling, Standard Paper Document Scanning, Drawing/Map Scanning, Drawing/Map Vectorization, Microform, PDF Conversion, Proprietary Electronic Format Conversion, Indexing, OCR/Key Stroking/Data Entry, Mark Up Language Tagging/Validation, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM's), Repository, Transactional Records, Multimedia Presentation, Video/Photographic, Mail/Administrative Control Imaging, Compact Disk-Read Only Memory (CD-ROM), Delivery Media, On-site services, classified services requiring a cleared facility. Contractors will be required to furnish services for the digitized/conversion/indexing and management of various text, graphic, and microform databases within the Department of Defense/Federal Agencies.
