Size/Dimensions: 0.500 inches x 4.500 inches. Form /Fit/Function: Directs air to 4th stage blades. Predominant Material: AMS 4928 Titanium Alloy. Applicable to: F100-100/200 Engine. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3032. Delivery: 31 JAN 04. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 31 JAN 03. The anticipated award date will be 30 MAR 2003. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Pratt & Whitney (CAGE: 52661). No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the Government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. It has been determined that it is not reasonable to develop or specify Qualification Requirements for this item. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) AWARD WILL NOT BE WITHHELD AWAITING QUALIFICATION.
