- FOREST INVENTORY ANALYSIS: Proposals are sought for services related to locating and measuring 168 Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) Plots and provide digital delivery of the data acquired on National Forest lands. GPS locations and Photo Points will also be taken and recorded for each plot. Work shall be in accordance with the procedures detailed in Field Instructions For The Annual Inventory Of Washington, Oregon, and California, hereafter referred to as Field Instructions. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies. Government will provide Field Data Recorders. Location of the FIA work is at various locations on the Colville, Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forests (NF), in Eastern Washington. There are 47 plots located on the Wenatchee NF, 61 plots located on the Okanogan NF and 60 plots located on the Colville NF. All work should be completed by September 30, 2003, estimated start work May 12, 2003. Contract performance time is 142 calendar days. Certification of crews to perform work is required prior to performance of field work for the season. All work shall be performed by personnel who have demonstrated the ability to read, interpret, and apply information contained in Field Procedures. No site visit is scheduled.
