- CORRECTION TO GENERAL INFORMATION: RESPONSE DATE: 01/16/03 AND POINT OF CONTACT: MARGIE THORSON. The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services Emergency Task Force is seeking HUBZone small businesses capable of providing labor services for a declared emergency eradication program for Exotic Newcastle Disease in birds. The work required consist primarily of general labor to be performed in different locations in the following counties of California: Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernadino, San Diego. This procurement is 100% HUBZone small business set-aside for a period of six (6) months. It is anticipated that the formal Solicitation/Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted in the USDA, APHIS, Minneapolis World Wide Web Site at: www.aphis.usda.gov/mpls/contract/cbd.html on or about January 9, 2003.
