- AWARD WILL ONLY BE MADE TO CONTRACTORS WHO ARE REGISTERED IN THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY. 1. Title of project: Exterior Protective Coating in the KMC 2. Request for Proposal Number: F61521-02-R5006 3. Magnitude: Between $ 5 Million and $ 10 Million 4. Place of Performance: Kaiserslautern Military Community 5. Projected Closing Date:. 26 AUG 2002 6. Description of Project: This project consists of the following work Elements: Exterior masonry, plaster, concrete, stucco, wood, and metal repair work. Exterior painting of masonry, plaster, concrete, stucco, wood, metal, aluminum, and zinc metal sheet surfaces. Work may include the installation of exterior thermal insulation. All work required to install a splash guard around the perimeter of facilities. 8. There will be no costs for technical specifications. (NOTE: Only a limited number of specifications and the drawings are available.) 9. SITE VISIT: It is imperative that contractors attend the site visit which will be held 6 AUG 2002 at 10:00 Hrs. at Bldg 164, Zimmer 326, Kaiserslautern-Vogelweh, Am Opelkreisel, Rhine Ordnance Barrack. Contractors must inform this office as soon as possible but not later than 2 AUG 2002 who will be attending the site visit.
