- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management, Salt Lake City, Utah, has a requirement for approximately 300 tons of medium size (750 - 1600lbs) bales of clean alfalfa hay with no rain damage, with a crude protein content of approximately 18 - 20%, suitable for horses and burros, free from noxious weeds. Hay is to be delivered, offloaded and stacked in two hay barns at the Salt Lake Regional Wild Horse and Burro Facility, located in Herriman Utah. Delivery will be on an as needed basis. Each delivery shall be made within 7 days after notification of need. Contractor shall provide a means to offload and stack the hay. The North American Industry Classification System Number for this procurement is 422910. Solicitation packages will be available electronically on or about January 21, 2003, or interested parties may request a copy either via e-mail to: susan_cowin@ut.blm.gov; by fax to (801)539-4222; or by telephone to (801)539-4177. Requests must reference Solicitation Number JSQ034026, company name, US Postal mailing address, telephone number and a point of contact. Offers will be due on or about February 7, 2003.
