Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: NA This solicitation is being issued for delivery of CRUSHED STONE, CR6, graded aggregate GA subbase SB type in BULK. Will be used for repairs to installation roads, sidewalks, patios, parking lots and for projects needing solid foundations. The NAICS is 4213 20, SIC 5032, and size standard 500. Method of award in accordance with FAR Part 12 commercial item, set aside for small business 100%. Award will be to lowest bidder and will result in a firm fixed price requirement with a base year and two options years, if exercised. Estimated period of performance 1 February 2003 and two options ending 31 January 2006. Delivery shall be made by truck clearly marked with company's name, address and telephone number. Crush stone shall be furnished in conformance with all current Federal, State and local regulations licenses, and applicable laws, State Highway Administration Standard Specifications for Construction Materials. The solicitation and any amendments will be issued via the World Wide Web. NOTE: Since 11 Sep 01 all contractors/drivers and their vehicles making deliveries and or providing service to this installation must be pre-registered with PROVOST MARSHALL'S OFFICE (through VISITOR's Control Center) 175 and Reece Road Entrance ONLY.
