Description

This is a synopsis for the purchase of Thorlo socks. There are four type of socks to be procured: 1. Athletic Crew Socks, Thorlo Style XJ Series; 2. White Ski Socks, Thorlo Style SKX Series; 3. Black Dress Socks, Thorlo Style WGXL Series; and 4. Black Boot Socks, Thorlo Style MGB Series. This is a brand name only requirement. This will be a requirements type contract with first year?s performance commencing on or about 1 March 2003. Estimated quantities to be: 1. Athletic Crew Socks, Thorlo Style XJ Series, 8832 pairs; 2. White Ski Socks, Thorlo Style SKX Series, 8832 pairs; 3. Black Dress Socks, Thorlo Style WGXL Series, 17,664 pairs; and 4. Black Boot Socks, Thorlo Style MGB Series, 17,664 pairs for the basic year and 4 option years. Some clauses contained in this request for proposal are 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program and 252.225-7012, Preference for Certain Domestic Commodities. Delivery FOB Destination to USAF Academy, CO 80840 NLT the 30th of April each year. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on best value to include past performance. Request for Proposal F05611-03-R-0007 will be available on or about 13 January 2003. No telephone requests for this solicitation will be allowed. Offers are to be received at the Operational Contracting Office, 8110 Industrial Drive, Suite 200, USAF Academy, CO 80840-2315, NLT 27 January 2003, 4:00 PM Mountain Time. This proposed contract listed here is a 100 percent small business set-aside.
