- Description
- Design and install an Integrated Security System consisting of IDS, CCTV, ACCESS CONTROL and TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM. The devices and operational control packages of each component must be compatible with existing field devices, operating systems, recording/retrieval systems and monitoring centers currently deployed by the Federal Protective Service, Region One. The IDS shall be based on Radionics D7412 ACP with fully redundant field devices and 24-hour battery back up. All field devices shall be placed to provide full perimeter protection and ease of use/service. The CCTV component shall be designed to ensure full coverage of all main pedestrian and vehicle travel ways as well as building perimeter coverage. Recording devices will be compatible with all existing system retrieval /reporting methods and cameras will be of the highest quality color high resolution vandal resistant type. The ACCESS CONTROL devices shall be compatible with a currently installed system. Proximity card readers shall be located at appropriate locations to control all vehicle and pedestrian traffic without hindering daily operations. Elevator call control must also be included. The TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM will be installed at a central location within the parking facility and must be designed to prohibit all unauthorized traffic from entry the secured area. Provisions must be included to provide adequate housing for guards, related equipment and emergency response scenarios. All systems and related equipment must be installed to meet all applicable codes and owner requirements. All exposed wiring must be installed in appropriate conduit. Site visit is mandatory. Plans detailing locations of all devices and as built drawings must be provided. All appropriate manufactures equipment specification documentation must be provided. This Procurement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The cost range of this procurement is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. Estimated issue date is 1/2/03. Proposal Due date will be on or about 1/31/03. This Solicitation is available only on the internet at http://eps.gov/. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the IFB and amendments (if any) and the offeror is responsible for downloading their own copy of the IFB and amendments.
