- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors for providing full uniforms, miscellaneous uniform pieces and tailoring services for the Uniformed Officer?s Division at the BEP Washington, DC Facility, located at 14th and C Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20228-0001 in accordance with the attached statement of work. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes are 315211 and 315212, with a small business size standard of 500 employees for each. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-03-0104. The period of performance shall be from date of award through September 30, 2003. Delivery shall be made shall be made on an as needed basis after receipt of purchase order. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving & Printing, D Street between 13th & 14th Street, SW, Washington D C 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be Firm Fixed-Price type Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ). The basis for award shall be lowest price/technically acceptable. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number, size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 3:00 PM on January 19, 2002. Quotations may be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Procurement, Attn: Cynthia A. Beckett, 14th and C Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20228-0001.
