- Description
- The government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract for hotel Services in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5 "Test Program for Certain Commercial Items" (CLINGER - COHEN), with 100% full and open competition. The Period of Performance for the resulting Purchase Order will be from 21 January 2003 through 05 February 2003. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 721110, and the corresponding Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 7011. Response date for the submission of quotation will be established in the the RFQ when issued. FOB destination. Hotel services include lodging single and double rooms (no double occupancy or overflow to other hotels), (free parking for 30 contract vehicles) (breakfast buffet), (free phones calls to base). Hotel must be equipped to accommodate 198 Airwing personnel. All responsible sources must submit pricing and past performance data by 4:00 p.m. on the date the offer is due. The location of the hotels will be in Puerto Rico. Potential Offerors are hereby notified that the Solicitation available by downloading the documents at the FISC Norfolk Website: http://www.nor.fisc.navy.mil/contracts/solicirations/default.htm or at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office will not maintain a solicitation mailing list. Paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will not be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection. By submitting a quote the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, or debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. FAR Parts 12 & 13 (Commercial and Simplified Acquisition procedures) will be used.
