- Supervisor of Shipbuilding, C&R, USN intends to award a firm-fixed price contract IAW FAR 13.302 to the Cissell Manufacturing Co., 831 S. 1st Street, Louisville, KY 40232 for the following item: Item 0001: Dryer/Tumbler, Model #L36TD30ME NSN 3510-01-317-0968. As per the Naval Shipboard Laundry and Dry Cleaning Equipment Catalog, this is the only model that has been approved and meets all habitability requirements for installation onboard a naval vessel. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. It is anticipated that award will take place on or before 24 January 2003.
