- NA The U.S. Army, Fort Carson, Colorado intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Keystone Mountain Resort, Colorado for Cold Weather Training. This purchase will be done under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The anticipated award date is December 24, 2001. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, however; any firm that b elieves it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within five days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to com pete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.gov/. Quoters must provide copies of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items with their quote. Certs & Reps can be obtained at http: //www.arnet.gov/far or through e-mail request to Contract Officer listed below. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for 140 each Transferrable Ski Passes for Cold Weather Training in Colorado. Quotes must identify any black out periods. The passes must include unlimited days at Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone & Breckenridge. Quotes can be e-mailed the attention of Ms. Reynolds @ Linda.Reynolds@carson.army.mil. Faxed quotes can be sent to (719) 526-5333. The government is not responsible for illegible faxed materials. All quotes shall state point of contact, a ddress, telephone number and e-mail address. All quotes must be received in this office no later than 24 December 2002, 2:00 p.m. MST. The following Clauses apply: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Item. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision with their quotation. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price an d other factors considered.
