- NA Work to be performed under this contract will be in accordance with the following: a) dredging will be required to a depth of 35 feet MLW (Christina River Datum) plus 1-foot allowable overdepth within the contract work limits from Station 0+000 to Station 1+975. Dredging will be required to a distance of 25 feet outside the North Channel edge when required dredging depths exist inside the channel along the perimeter of the north edge; b) dredging will be required to a depth of 38 feet MLW (Christina River Datum) plus 1-foot allowable overdepth within the contract work limits from Station 1+975 to Station 6+236. Dredging will be required to a distance of 25 feet outside the north channel edge, north turning basin edges, and entrance widening (flare) from S tation 1+975 to Station 6+236, when required dredging depths exist inside the channel and basin, along the perimeter of the aforementioned north limits; c) no slopes or end slopes are specified for this contract; d) hopper dredging shall not be permitted u nder this contract; e) the Government-furnished disposal area available for use under this contract is Wilmington Harbor South Disposal Area. Solicitation documents will be available on the web page on or about 17 January 2003 and hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests shall be accepted. Contractors shall download this solicitation (including drawings) and all amendments (including drawings) from the Internet at the following address: https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil/AdvertisedSolic itations.asp on or after issue date of the solicitation; The official media of distribution for this solicitation is the ?WEB PAGE?. All required software to download the solicitation documents can be downloaded from the web page under ?Viewers?. Interes ted contractors must register on the Internet. If any of the contractor?s information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in their user profil e may cause a delay in receiving the solicitation and amendments. Bidders are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation including any drawings. Bids will be opened on or about 18 February 2003 at 11:00 a.m. This procurement is Unrestrict ed. The NAICS Code is 234990 with a size standard of $17.0 million. The estimated range of the project is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 and bonding is required. Affirmative action to insure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting cont ract. Liquidated damages will be specified. Award will be made as a whole to one bidder. All contractors must be registered in the DoD?s Central Contract Register (CCR) database before award as required by DFARS 204.7300 and comply with VETS-100 annual reporting as required by FAR 22.1310(b).
