- Description
- The United States Coast Guard, MLC Atlantic intends to purchase parts for Appleton Marine Hydraulic Crane Model SB230-42 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The hydraulic Marine Parts required fitting the proper operation of the crane aboard the 175 FT KEEPER CLASS Coastal Buoy Tender. The crane parts are being purchased to support the 175 FT Cutters. Quotes are due December 19, 2002, 12:00pm EDT. The RFQ number is DTCG80-02-Q-3FA480. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the EPS system for RFQ information and all subsequent amendments. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 421810 ? Construction and Mining, Machinery and Equipment, and the small business size standard is 700 employees. The Crane Parts will be and delivered F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard NESU Portsmouth LST 4000 Coast Guard Boulevard, Portsmouth, VA 23703-2199 The Appleton hydraulic crane parts shall be delivered Feburary 15, 2003. The parts shall be packed, packaged and marked in accordance with commercial standards. The OEM's best standard commercial warranty is requested and shall be identified in the bidder's quote. All interested sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the Coast Guard. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
