Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOSH), contemplates an award for renovation of office spaces at its 4676 Columbia Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45226, campus. This will be a sealed bid solicitation. Renovation will be for approximately 13,000 gross square feet of office space. This project will consist of contractor providing all plant, labor, material, and equipment to complete the project. The project will consist of selective demolition, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work. The HVAC will include the installation of two new air handling units, new duct work and control work. An energy management system will also be required per the specifications. Plumbing work will include restrooms, sinks, drinking fountains and sprinkler systems. The electrical work will include rewiring, lighting, data pulls, and some fiber optic relocation. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1,000,000. and $5,000,000. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 233320. The performance period for this project is 180 calendar days after notice to proceed is issued. A pre-bid conference and site visit is tentatively scheduled for January 22, 2003 at 10:00 AM (EST) at the Taft Building, CDC/NIOSH, 4676 Columbia Parkway, Cincinnati, OH.
