- Notice of intent to award a sole source extension for three (3) months plus and option for an additional 3 months if needed for a total of up to six (6) months to PLMS, Inc., of Silver Spring, MD, Landscaping and Groundskeeping services under authority of FAR 6.302. The Department of State has a need for the contractor to provide uninterrupted services to allow time for an upcoming recompete that will be available at the end of November 2002. PLMS, Inc., is the current incumbent. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by contacting ColvinG@state.gov. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. At such time when a competitive solicitation is issued, proposals will be accepted from all HubZone Small Businesses. The Department of State will consider all proposals received within 14 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (12-NOV-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 12-DEC-2002.
