- Description
- PRESOLNOT Provide all labor, material, supervision, tools and equipment necessary to perform general repairs and alterations to Government owned/ Leased facilities in the Boston Metropolitan Statistical Area including Andover and Haverhill, MA. This will be an Indefinite Quantity Construction Contract(s) with the ability to perform associated design services for construction projects ranging from approximately $5000.00 to $2,130,000.00. The total amount of work estimated to be performed under all contracts will be $13,000,000.00. The Government intends to make a multiple award to a maximum of five (5) contractors under the subject solicitation. Offerors will be evaluated using the source selection procedures greatest value method outlined in the solicitation. Individual delivery orders exceeding $5,000.00 may be competed among the selected firms under the contract(s) unless the Government deems otherwise on an individual task order basis. Individual orders will be placed with the contractor with the low price when only price is a factor. The contracts will be for a one year base period with four one year options. The applicable NAICS code is 233320, Small Business Size Standard is $27.5 million The procurement is open to both large and small businesses. There will be no public opening of offers. This is the Pre-Invitation Notice synopsis. A Pre-Invitation Notice is being issued 04/29/02. During the last 4 years there were about 36 delivery orders of less than $100,000.00. These delivery orders ranged from a low of $ 5,830.00 to a high of $99,695.00 for an average of $47,000.00 . During the same period there were about 38 delivery orders above $100,000.00 .
