- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotation and the solicitation number is DTCG38-03-Q-S00001. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. The Coast Guard intends to issue a delivery order against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for the procurement of the following items: Blade, Rotary Rudder, QTY 1 EA, NSN 1615-01-158-9678, Part Number 70101-31000-046; Blade, Rotary Wing, QTY 3 EA, NSN 1615-01-158-9679, Part Number 70150-29100-041. Items are to be delivered to USCG, ARSC Receiving Section, Building 63, Elizabeth City, North Carolina, 27909-5001. The Coast Guard does not own, nor can it provide drawings or specifications for these items. There is no formal solicitation document. Closing date and time for receipt of offers is November 12, 2001, 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Facsimile offers are acceptable and may be forwarded via Fax Number: (252) 335-6790. The Coast Guard intends to negotiate with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, as the only known NAVICP-PICA certified source of supply. Offerors, other than the OEM, must possess NAVICP-PICA certification as a certified source of supply and must provide proof of such prior to contract award. Information regarding NAVICP-PICA certification may be obtained from NAVICP Internet Address: http://www.navicp.navy.mil/sabs/sas/sascover.htm. FAR Provision 52.212-2 does not aply in that award will be made to the offeror who submits the lowest price. Offers may be submitted on company letterhead stationery indicating nomenclature, part number, unit price, and extended price for the items offered; plus the FOB point, any discounts for prompt payment and business size standards and any minority classification. A company representative authorized to commit the company must sign this offer. See Numbered Note 22 and 26. Attention: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantage Business Enterprises (DBEs), the Department of Transportation (DOT) Short Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
