- This announcement is a request for information. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC San Diego) is seeking to improve the present performance of Specific Emitter Identification (SEI) systems by seeking alternatives or enhancements to the current technology. SEI technology passively measures emitters and characterizes unique emitter signatures that can be used for friendly or enemy emitter identification and fingerprinting. The U.S. Navy is seeking solutions to increase SEI throughput and performance and intends to initiate a Foreign Comparative Test to determine if improved capabilities exist through a comparison with existing U.S. SEI systems.
