- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to award, on a Sole Source basis, to Sabtech Industries for Sabtech Military Equipment Replacement System (SMILE System), quantity 1 each. This device simulates the following shipboard computer system peripherals: OJ-172, Data Exchange Auxiliary Console (DEAC); RD-358, Magnetic Tape Subsystem (MTS); USH-26 Cartridge Magnetic tape Unit (CMTU); UYH-3, Magnetic Disk Subsystem; UYH-16, Magnetic Disk Subsystem; and USQ-69, Data Terminal Set (DTS).
