- Description
- This is a Regional Indefinite Quantity Contract to provide interior and exterior painting, removal and installation of vinyl wallcoverings, sandblasting, lead base paint abatement, various types of maintenance repairs and preparations associated with painting and wallcovering. Other incidental type work associated with painting and wallcovering is included and may be ordered for industrial, commercial, and residential locations indicated within each task order. The Government contemplates one contract award with five (5) administration offices resulting from this solicitation. The contract term is for a period of one (1) year. The Government has the option to extend the term of the contract services for additional periods of one to twelve months. The total contract term, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed 36 months. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The proposed procurement listed herein has been accepted by the Small Business Administration for competition in the 8(a) program. It is being offered for competition ONLY to eligible 8(a) concerns within the geographical area serviced by the SBA Richmond District Office. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 23832 and the size standard is $12,000,000. This (IFB) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site on or about 27 December 2002. Estimated bid opening date is 28 January 2003.
