- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION AND DOMESTIC SOURCES - Six self-contained hardware configuration items used to demonstrate certain principles of physics. Example 1 - A stand-alone heat pump consisting of a heat pump, joule & wattmeter, digital thermometer w/ 4 inputs, temperature sensor, measuring junction box, digital stopwatch, 2 channel Yt recorder, w/associated leads & cables. This is a kit of components specially constructed to demonstrate to college students how a heat pump extracts heat from a reservoir with the temerature T1 through vaporization of a coolant and transfer heat to a reservoir with the temerature T2 through condensation of the coolant. Five other experiments/configurations too. Estimated cost $2000 - $9000 each. Similar to Klinger P/N 2.6.3.1. Must be domestic source.
