- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the establishment of a Blanket Purchase Agreement for 40ft Refrigeration trailers. Trailers will be utility trailers, electric and refrigerated to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. As many as 8units may be required at any one time. Delivery of requested units will be made within 24 hours of placement of call. Temperature will be thermostatically controlled and rear doorsteps will be provided. Dover Port Mortuary will provide a minimum of 208-240 volts, 3 phase, 60 amps, 4 wire output power line with 60 amps circuit breaker. Dover Port Mortuary will be responsible for wash out charge at end of rental. This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ). This notice constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All quotes must be for all the items as stated. Partial quotes will not be considered. Submit written quotes; oral offers will not be accepted on RFQ F73MTY23430300. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-10, dated 22 Nov 02. FOB: Destination for delivery is Dover AFB DE. Note that all FAR clauses can be obtained by accessing the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Terms, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; FAR 52.222-27, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-42, Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires 52.222-48. The clause at DFAR 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses are cited to this solicitation: DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance Payment Program. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet at hhtp://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR number must be obtained before award can be made. Award will be based on lowest price and best value determination. The Government reserves the right to make an award on the initial quote without discussions on this procurement.
