Description
The Louis Stokes Cleveland, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical = =96 (New Ambulatory Care Building) is seeking a contractor to submit a technical design and proposal for the installation of an Security Surveillance Television (SSTV) System hereinafter referred to as (The System). The System shall consist of approximately 34 cameras and provide the greatest function and value to the VA. All new surveillance equipment must be compatible with the existing surveillance system. This commercial item procurement is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621 and the size standard is $11.5 million (annually). The cost range for this procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000. Time to complete installation shall be 150 calendar days. Contractor shall guarantee that all installed material and equipment shall be free of defects and remain so for a period one year from date of acceptance by the Government. Contractor shall respond on site to a trouble call during the one-year guarantee period within twenty-four hours. Contractor shall visit, on-site three times during the warranty period to perform system preventative maintenance and operational adjustments to maintain the system. The Government will award a contract to the most responsible offeror conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical Capability of the System; Past Performance; Price. The solicitation will be ready for stribution on Tuesday, December 17, 2002.
