- The United States Department of Education has a requirement for a large, complex data collection. This data collection, part of the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, is designed to continue a series of cross-sectional data collections. The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is the core postsecondary education data collection program. It is a single, comprehensive system that encompasses all institutions whose primary purpose is to provide postsecondary education. IPEDS consists of institutional-level data that can be used to describe trends in postsecondary education at the institutional, state and/or national levels. The Department is seeking comments or questions from interested parties on the Draft Statement of Work. Comments should be submitted via email by Decemeber 23, 2002 @ 2pm to Lenox Coles, Sr. Contract Specialist. The email address is Lenox.Coles@ed.gov.
