Description

The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a dilution refrigerator consisting of a He3 still, heat exchangers, and a mixing chamber. Gold plated copper flanges must be accessible at the still, intermediate heat exchanger, and a mixing chamber. this unit will be installed into a NIST built cryostat that connects to a still and return line port of the dilution refrigerator unit. The unit must reach a base line port of the 7 milliKelvin, and must have a five month delivery or less. Technical merit as well as price will be used to evaluate offers. As the technical merit becomes more equal, price becomes a greater factor. Procurements under Simplified Acquisition Procedures ($25,000-$100,000) are set-aside for small business unless small business cannot meet the need at a reasonable price.
