- Description
- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: (36) each-KI Inc, model: Concerto, stock #: 71Signature, "or equal", classroom seating. Minimum width's of the seats are 21", and maximum width of the seats are 24". Each individual seat returns to closed position by a fully engaged gravity lift mechanisms with no springs that could fail over time. The seat and back cushion are 2" in depth. This seating will require fixed to the floor installation, with all (36) seats fabricated in Pallas fabric, fabric pattern "UR" . The fabric design is Sutton Hoo Archaeology, pattern number 27.082.043, color number 044 Midnight. The seating will contain (24) fully laminated end panels coated in medium oak, and Tru-fold tablet arm for each seat. The Tru-fold tablet arm is a self-storing oversized tablet arm that stores under the seat at a slight angle without interferring with the seat. Tablet arm is 202 sq. inches with outer dimensions of 21 1/4" x 15 1/4" x 11 1/2", and 3 1/2" at the back. Tablet arm engages in a one-motion fashion. Bids on these chairs will need to include installation, receipt and delivery at site, and all garbage removal inclusive. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07 and Defense Change Notice 20010531. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 337127 applies to this procurement. The small business size standard is: 500 employees. FOB: Destination for delivery and installation is to 340 Magnolia Circle, Tyndall AFB, FL 32403-5612. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation.
