- Description
- FISC-SD announces a requirement for repair services to Government owned MK6, MOD 3 fiberglass liferaft containers/canisters. Services will be required on an as needed basis. Yearly estimates are as follows: (900) structural repairs on tops, (900) structural repairs on bottoms; (900) cosmetic repairs on tops, (900) cosmetic repairs on bottoms. The requiring activity is SIMA-SD. This requirement is restricted to small businesses. The RFQ will be issued on or about 12-17-02. The solicitation period will close on 12-27-02. Contractors that have experience in this type of fiberglass repairs are encouraged to search the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 12-17-02 to obtain a copy of the RFQ. The period of performance is anticipated to be a base year and four one year option periods. The base year will commence upon contract award. All work is to be accomplished in accor dance with the statement of work to be provided and all applicable commercial practices.
