- The Denver Facilities Service Office, US Postal Service, is soliciting interest from contractors desiring to be placed on a PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS LIST for construction of NEW CONSTRUCTION OWNED/MAJOR EXPANSION OF POSTAL FACILITY PROJECTS IN EXCESS OF $1M AND MAJOR REPAIR & ALTERATION PROJECTS IN THE $500,000 - $5M RANGE The PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS LIST will be utilized as applicable for future postal facility projects in the eight (8) states of Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Interested contractors will be required to complete a comprehensive PREQUALIFICATION PACKAGE. A separate submittal is NOT required for each geographical area of interest. Contractors will indicate the states for which they are interested. Applicants will be evaluated on experience, references, safety records and organization/staffing. In addition, proof of financial stability, bonding capacity and possession of or application for valid contracting license(s) will be required. The Prequalification Packages will be evaluated by a USPS Committee, and only the MOST HIGHLY QUALIFIED contractors will be selected and placed on the PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS LIST which will be developed from this solicitation. The PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS LIST will be for a two-year period, with three one-year renewal options. Contractors who are currently on a Prequalified List for the states listed above must participate in this solicitation by submitting a Prequalification Package. Current prequalified contractors will NOT automatically be placed on the new list. They must compete with other applicants from this prequalification process. Prequalification packages are available for a $25 (NON-REFUNDABLE) fee from A&D Draft-Aid (303-573-8714). Mail or fax your request for an ORDER FORM to A& D Draft Aid, P. O. Box 40877, Denver, CO 80204-0877 Fax (303-573-8714). ORDER FORMS are also available on the A&D web site: www.addraftaid.com. Submittals must be completed using the format provided in the prequalification package. Submittals will not be returned. Only those applicants ordering a package will be evaluated.
