Description
The Contracts Field Office at Camp Pendleton, California is hereby seeking companies who have the capabilities to perform all required on-site repair, replacement, inspection, testing, annual, semi-annual and quarterly preventative maintenance, testing, calibration of meters, gauges, valves (claval), pressure relief valves, vacuum gauges, and pressure gauges. The contractor will also be responsible for hydrostatic testing of hoses, providing cathodic protection, certification of conventional fuel systems and vapor recovery unit systems and associated equipment, and a variety of leak detection systems. A sample of the types of equipment requiring these services are military fuel distribution systems, including but not all inclusive, jet fuel, propane, JP-5, JP-8, Diesel, Unleaded, Fuel Master fuel dispensing systems, Tanker trucks and trailers, vapor recovery systems, holding tanks, fuel tanks (above and below ground) {up to 500,000 gallons}, fuel receiving and issue pumps (300/600 GPM), Submerged turbines, and Program Logistics Controllers The Contractor will be required to be on site within 3 hours in response to unscheduled service calls, and ready to correct deficiencies. The systems are located in various areas throughtout a 20 Sq. Mile Radius. The Contractor should have the technical competence to trouble-shoot and analyze the cause of the problem rapidly without the need for calling out "vendors, manufacturers and subcontractors" to determine what the problems, and the expertise to correct the deficiencies. There is no solicitation at this time, therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBusOps and on the NAVFAC SOUTHWEST DIVISION Electronic Solicitation Website (http://esol.navfac.navy.mil). It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. While the Government acknowledges that many companies have the capability to perform any one or even several of the functions involved with the maintenance and inspection of fuel systems, the Government expects to contract with a firm that has the overall capability to manage this effort. Provide the following information in this format: 1) Entity name; 2) Entity address; 3) Location/address; 4) Point of contact; 5) Telephone number; 6) E-mail address; 7) Whether the firm is women owned; 8) Whether the firm resides in a certified HubZone area; 9) Whether the firm is a certified small disadvantaged business; 10) Whether the firm is a small business; 11) Printed brochures/pamphlets. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified about the outcome of the Government's review of the solicited information. Failure to respond to this request does not mean that a firm cannot respond to a solicitation at a later date.
