NA REVISED STATEMENT OF WORK FOR BUILDING NO. 2593 (KINGMAN BUILDING) EXECUTIVE AREA RENOVATIONS (Rev 12/9/02) A.1. Contractor shall provide all supervision, material, labor, and equipment to replace existing carpet, install 6? 3 piece chair rail in conference room (stain grade), reception area, and executive office, prep & paint approximately 600 square feet of existing walls , replace the existing drop ceiling grid and tile, replace existing light fixtures, and install supply and return registers. Contractor shall furnish all materials and equipment needed for this project (this project is considered turnkey ? a ll-inclusive). The project location is in building 2593 (Kingman Building). Humphreys Engineer Center 7701 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22310. Point of Contract (POC) for questions or to visit project (recommended) site is Alandra Jones ? 703-428-6551. BUILDING NO. 2593 (KINGMAN BUILDING) 1ST FLOOR EXECUTIVE OFFICE FURNITURE A.1. Contractor shall provide all supervision, material, labor, and equipment to install new furniture in reception area; chairs and sofa in director?s office. Contractor shall furnish all materials and equipment needed for this project. This project lo cation is in building 2593, Humphrey?s Engineer Center, 7701 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22315. A.2.0. Contractor shall relocate all existing furniture from the executive area to room 2D18 on the 2nd floor. Contractor shall relocate all existing furniture from room 2D18 back to the executive area when renovation is complete. A.2.1. Contractor will deliver and install new furniture consisting of the following: 1. 72 x 36 left return desk ? OFS 55-7236 ERP 48 x 24 left return ? OFS 55-4824ELR 2. 72 x 20 lateral file credenza ? OFS 55-7220CLF 3. 42 x 24 typing table on casters ? OFS TW-4225WT ? CASTERS OC 4. Grille bookcase ? OFS 70-4829HSGD FINISH: ESS: EXECUTIVE WALNUT ON WALNUT 5. 5 ? Thornwell Chairs ? OFS 1825 FINISH: LOT WALNUT FABRIC: COM FABRIC ? MOMENTUM FAST FORWARD PUCKER BLUEBERRY 6. HT Bkcs Tops ? 70-2813 7. HB Bkcs Base ? 70-2813 8. Wishbone Kit w/fast release - Knoll - WSH01PTF 9. ERGO Articulating Key ? ERGO JDS-20-S 10. Sofa ? San Simeon ? 3 Cushion Sofa 31H-80W-31D FABRIC: MOMENTUM; SOLO MIDNIGHT Furniture will be placed according to drawing. *****SEE ATTACHED DRAWING FOR LAYOUT OF FURNITURE***** Installation of all furniture shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer?s approved instructions and/or recommendations. A.2. Contractor shall remove all existing carpet, draperies, drapery rods, cove base, ceiling grid, light fixtures, receptacles, and switches located in the executive area to include the reception area, conference room, executive office, and two (2) smal ler offices. A.3. Contractor shall install new 3-piece 6? chair rail in the reception area, conference room, and the executive office (see room 2D01 for sample). Conference room shall be stain grade. A.4. Contractor shall install new Patchcraft Subliminal, Too, 7406-014 SUBTLETTIES carpet with vinyl cove base (DOMCO CB-63). A.5. Contractor shall prep & paint all walls (2 finish coats). Conference room shall be painted 2 colors with the chair rail stained to match the base and doors. Executive office, and reception area shall be painted with three (3) colors (top, chair, & bottom). All colors to be determined prior to work start. A.6. Contractor shall replace all existing receptacles and switches with new ivory to include plates (large metal). A.7. Contractor shall replace all fluorescent fixtures with new 2? x 4? parabolic fluorescent fixtures (total of 34). Contractor shall install two (2) new recessed incandescent wall washer fixtures on designated wall of reception area. A.8. Contractor shall install new 2? x 2? recessed c eiling system to include new grid utilizing USG Sandrift Panels (white). A.9. Contractor shall install new wood base in conference room only. Base shall be stained to match the existing wood doors. A.10. Contractor shall install 8 new 2? x 2? HVAC supply registers in the new ceiling. Contractor shall install one (1) new 2? x 2? return grill in each area (total of 5). B.2. Contractor shall install materials IAW EM 385-1-1, US Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual, National Electric Code (NEC) and, 28 CFR Part 36 and Public Law 101-336 -Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). B.3. Contractor shall furnish the government a warranty for a minimum of one year for parts and service (at no additional cost to the government), including all labor and service calls if needed. Contractor shall also submit Manufacturers extended warrant ies on equipment to the POC. B.4. The contractor shall not leave any areas in an unsafe manner and shall remove debris from the complex on a daily basis. B.5. Contractor shall verify measurements and site conditions. Contractor shall provide submittals (and be approved by the POC) for all equipment and materials prior to purchase. B.6. Any Government property damaged by contractor shall be repaired to a condition acceptable to the Government at no additional cost to the Government. B.7. All work shall be performed during normal duty hours, 0700 to 1530 daily. Exceptions must be approved by the P.O.C. prior to working other than the stated hours. Saturday and Sunday work may be a requirement. B.8. Safety equipment shall be worn at all times. B.9. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all information of manufacture requirements, and shall install all materials and equipment in accordance with manufacturer's requirements. B.10. All work shall be done in a professional workman like manner. B.11. All material used for this project shall be new, and any requests to use equivalent parts and materials must be made and approved by the POC prior to purchase/installation of materials. B.12. Project shall not be accepted until 100% complete and operational to the satisfaction of the P.O.C.
