Description
31 CONS is searching any interested companies who can or may be able to provide the item specified in this statement of need: Required: One mobile X-Ray inspection system designed to scan cargo pallets and vehicles ranging in size from passenger type vehicles to large trucks for the detection of contraband and explosives. Operators must be able to quickly and easily identify compartments associated with hidden explosives, weapons, or other threats. The system must be able to quickly deploy, set-up, and have the ability to scan moving or stationary objects for extended periods of time. The system must allow for expedient maintenance and fast cycle times due to the sheer amount of inspections required at the operating location. Temperature: Ability to operate in all weather environments (-15C to 49C) Scanning System: Capable of scanning up to maximum size semi-truck and equipped with lighting for night time operations Truck and Lift System: Vehicle must be authorized for International use (Italy). System should be self-contained on board vehicle for quick deployment/relocation if necessary Warranty for parts and labor. On-call maintenance capability: within 3 days from call repair or substitution of the component. Regularly scheduled preventive maintenance. Training: Provide training on all aspects of system operation to include minor and medium level maintenance. Additional training aids available through a distance learning method are also desired. Regulations: Entire system must comply with all applicable Italian regulations to include governing health compliance and X-ray emissions.
